History of Project ANGEL

Over twenty years ago, members of the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department saw, first hand, the need for a service that could provide Christmas to needy children and families in Hendricks County.

Seeing one more child smile at Christmas has served as a principle foreground for Project A.N.G.E.L. since its inception.

This endeavor has grown over the years to reach out and touch all citizens of Hendricks County and to implore upon the community as a whole to give of themselves to realize its dream.

We believe it is our duty as a community service organization to assist any family within our county in obtaining those human needs necessary for the enjoyment of life's basic requirements: food, clothing and shelter.
