| When I came into contact with Project A.N.G.E.L., I was in a desperate condition. I was in need of food for my family, I was behind in childcare, and my children needed clothing and shoes, but had no way of providing for my family. I was in need of a miracle, but had no idea that Project A.N.G.E.L. was going to be the supplier of miracles. Being a single mother of 4, suffering from the illness of cancer, and being on a fixed income that doesn't even cover one third of the bills, I knew it was not possible for me to make ends meet. After contacting Project A.N.G.E.L., I soon realized that my miracle was on the way. One may think that having bills paid is the miracle, but the real miracle was meeting two people who had pure hearts of gold and a love for all people and children. I received a phone call from Rita Hodson and PZ Sinclair. When I spoke to them, I quickly realized that what I needed from them was greater than a dollar bill. Not having any idea that what they, along with Project A.N.G.E.L. were going to bless me with was not limited to money. After meeting with the organization, I was so impressed at their professionalism, dedication to their mission, and willingness to help without prejudice or judgment. The two advocates were so interested in making a difference, it was overwhelming. I have never met anyone like these two ladies. After talking with them the very first day, I could see that PZ and Rita were the definition of the name Project A.N.G.E.L. I was so blessed in an overwhelming way. Project A.N.G.E.L. blessed my family in every aspect. Every need was met in abundance. Project A.N.G.E.L. even gave me something money can't buy. They gave me hope. It is easy to look at my situation and feel hopeless, but they were not willing to except hopelessness. I am proud to report that along with the tangible blessings, Project A.N.G.E.L. gave me a new take on life, but not just my life, or my children's life, but the life of other "me's" that are out there who need a hand up. I can not count how many ways I was blessed by Project A.N.G.E.L., and just when I thought it was over, it was just beginning. My children and I have school clothes, everyday clothes, shoes and food to eat and we owe it all to Project A.N.G.E.L. I am in full support of this organization. I would recommend any and everyone to become involved with this organization because they not only offer assistance in the time of need, they change lives. In my time of need Project A.N.G.E.L. was there. Thank you Project A.N.G.E.L. for changing my life and for making things better for me and my family. Words will never be able to explain the difference you have made, but the closest I can get is "Thank You". Sincerely, Rita Patton |
